Fullcryo Neon-helium Refining Equipment Was Successfully Delivered to Taiwan, China

Recently, the neon-helium refining equipment from Beijing Sinoscience Fullcryo Cryogenic Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Fullcryo”) successfully arrived in Taiwan, China, providing strong support for the construction of Taiwan's first electronic-grade rare gas factory, which is of milestone significance.

Neon and helium are indispensable key materials in the semiconductor manufacturing process, especially in the wafer manufacturing process, high-purity neon is one of the key factors to ensure chip quality and performance. The neon-helium refining device provided by Fullcryo has a designed capacity of 86,000 Nm³/a for neon and 35,000 Nm³/a for helium. The device uses low-temperature refrigeration technology and efficient distillation technology. The product purity reaches more than 99.9995%, and the extraction rate exceeds 90%. With the smooth arrival of the device, Taiwan users will immediately start installation and commissioning work. After production, high-purity neon and helium gas can fully meet the needs of high-end customers such as semiconductors, which will help improve Taiwan's self-sufficiency in electronic-grade neon, reduce dependence on external markets, and provide strong guarantees for the stable supply of the semiconductor industry chain.

 

Against the backdrop of the rapid development of the global semiconductor industry, the demand for key materials such as rare gases has increased dramatically. As an important base for the semiconductor industry, Taiwan mainly relies on imports for its special gases and has a low self-sufficiency rate. Therefore, establishing a local supply chain has become a top priority. Fullcryo will continue to carry out in-depth cooperation with Taiwan companies to provide them with a complete set of solutions for the design and implementation of rare gas refining plants, effectively reducing the risk of supply chain disruptions in the semiconductor industry chain.
