Helium Extraction Unit (HEU)
Product Description
Product Details

BOG-HED utilizes cryogenic separation method for helium extraction and liquefaction. Most methane is recovered through cryogenic distillation tower and the remaining mixture gases mostly include the nitrogen, helium and hydrogen. Then the mixtures are further cooled and most nitrogen in it is removed through condensate separation in order to produce the crude helium with a content of over 75%. Such crude helium is then subject to hydrogen-removal process through catalytic bed in order to acquire raw helium in a purity of over 95%. The raw helium then is fed to the internal freeze-out purifier inside the helium liquefier cold box where the gases impurities are frozen and removed and high-purity helium is acquired. Finally, helium is further liquefied in the liquefier.
