Fullcryo Fufeng Coke Oven Gas Comprehensive Utilization Project is Progressing Steadily
High-purity gas plays a vital role in the modern industrial system, especially in the field of electronics, where its importance is comparable to gold. The purity directly determines the quality and performance of downstream products. For a long time, this key field has been monopolized by large gas companies in a few countries such as Germany, France, and the United States, which seriously restricts the independent development of related industries in my country. High-purity ammonia, as the basic material for the preparation of nitrogen trifluoride and silicon nitride, is widely used in LED lighting and display panels, photovoltaic solar silicon wafer manufacturing, integrated circuit chip manufacturing and other industries. Among them, 7N-level high-purity ammonia products have extremely high added value.
Hebei Fullcryo Fufeng Hydrogen Energy Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Fullcryo Fufeng"), a holding subsidiary of Fullcryo, has invested in the high-value-added comprehensive utilization project of coke oven gas. It has successfully designed and produced 7N-grade high-purity ammonia and hydrogen products using coke oven gas as raw materials, achieving carbon fixation and emission reduction, cost reduction and efficiency improvement. Its safety, reliability and energy consumption have reached the international advanced level. After the project is put into production, it is expected to achieve an annual output of 35,000 tons of synthetic ammonia, 98,000 tons of liquefied natural gas, 24 million standard cubic meters of high-purity hydrogen and a series of by-products, with an annual operating income of USD 125 million .
This high-purity ammonia production technology used in this project was independently developed by Fullcryo. By cleverly separating and extracting the effective components in coke oven gas, liquid ammonia, 20% ammonia water, electronic-grade ammonia products, liquefied natural gas and high-purity hydrogen were successfully produced. Among these, the 10,000 cubic meters LNG full containment tank's resistance to liquid volatility is at the forefront of the industry.The successful development of this project not only meets the high-quality needs of industries such as semiconductor integrated circuits, but also fills the gap in the domestic production of high-purity ammonia using coke oven gas as raw materials, reversing the situation in which foreign companies dominate the domestic high-purity ammonia market. In addition, the project also has significant advantages in environmental protection. The high-value-added comprehensive utilization of coke oven gas truly realizes green, low-carbon and zero emissions. Compared with the traditional coke oven gas combustion power generation method, the use of Fullcryo Fufeng's technology and process can solidify the carbon in the raw materials in the LNG product, significantly reducing carbon dioxide emissions by 62,000 tons, and the output value can reach up to USD 65 million.
The production of LNG from coke oven gas, as an important strategic development direction, not only solves the problem of coke oven gas utilization but also strongly promotes two-way emission reduction. It serves as a model and promotion tool for improving energy use structure and energy conservation. This project is beneficial for enhancing the emergency peak-shaving and supply security capabilities of natural gas in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, optimizing the energy structure of the region, achieving shared energy equipment, and saving equipment and operating costs. It also achieves mutual benefits and contributes to the local construction of resource-conserving and environmentally friendly enterprises, as well as to achieving energy-saving and emission-reduction targets.
